· Day 1: Arrival in Lima, Welcome in Lima, overnight

Day 1:  Arrival to Lima 

Our transfer will be waiting for you at Jorge Chavez Lima airport, holding a sign with your name on it and the sign of Inca Roads. After a warm welcome, our transfer will accompany you to your hotel.

Day 2: Arrival in Cusco and walking tour 

Early in the morning, our transfer will pick you up and accompany you to the Lima airport, where you will take the flight to Cusco City.

In Cusco, our transfer will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it. He will accompany you to your hotel so you can rest and acclimate to the altitude.

In the afternoon, you and your professional guide will walk by Cusco downtown, visiting San Blas, it is a beautiful artisan neighborhood; later, we will visit the famous street of the twelve stone's angles and the main square "Plaza de Armas"   This excursion goes at your timing because Cusco is a high city it is at 3300 m.o.s.l. so you can say to your guide if you prefer more places in the city or rest a little bit.

Day 3:  Excursion to the Sacred Valley, homestay with a local family 

Pick up from your hotel to begin your excursion to the Sacred Valley; first, we will visit Chinchero an Inca town home to textile traditions where we can see how people dye and weave wool using old Inca techniques after taking some photographs; we continue to the circular Inca terraces of Moray, where your guide will explain you the importance of this beautiful place, after that we forward to the salt mine of Maras that offer beautiful views of the valley, after that we have the lunch at a nice local restaurants.

After that, we go to Ollantaytambo. First, we visit the Ollantaytambo fortress, an incredible Inca remains built on a mountain. It is a symbolic place where the rebel Inca Manco Inca defeated the Spaniards in a war for the control of this strategic area. After that, we will visit Ollantaytambo town, which still conserves its stone walls and some aqueducts running crystalline water.

After that, we will go to your local homestay to introduce you to the family. They are very lovely and will welcome you with a delicious dinner.

Day 4:  Excursion to the Sacred Valley, homestay with a local family 

The family will offer you breakfast with local products and show you this beautiful area. There, the whole year, the weather was nice, between 14 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius.

The family will also prepare a delicious lunch and invite you to participate in optional activities like picking up fresh fruit or visiting the local market.

They will offer you a small dinner with fresh products in the evening. In Peru, the main food is lunch, not dinner.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is very beautiful, and it is a perfect place to relax and learn about how the local people live happy lives doing simple activities.

Day 5: Homestay in the Sacred Valley of the Incas

The family will offer to you the breakfast with local products, and they will show you this beautiful area, there whole the year use to have a nice weather between 14 celcious degrees and 25 Celcious degrees.

The family will prepare also a delicious lunch and they will invite you to participate in some optionl activities like pick up fresh fruit or visit the local market.

In the evening they will offfer you a small diner with fresh products. In Peru the main food is the lunch not the diner.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is very beautiful and it is a perfect place for relax and learn about how the local people have happy lifes doing simple activities.

Day 6: Homestay in the Sacred Valley of the Incas - Trip to Aguas Calientes

The family will offer to you the breakfast with local products, and they will show you this beautiful area, there whole the year use to have a nice weather between 14 celcious degrees and 25 Celcious degrees.

The family will prepare also a delicious lunch and they will invite you to participate in some optionl activities like pick up fresh fruit or visit the local market.

In the evening we will say good buy to our local homestay, and we will take the train to Aguas calientes.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes. 

Day 07:    Machu Picchu Excursion (The Lost City of the Incas) 

Your guide will pick up you from your hotel in the morning, to take the bus to the "lost city of the Incas" Machu Picchu, this trip is around 30 minutes by bus.

Your guide will assist with entrances and start your tour at around 1.5 hours.

After your guided tour, feel free to walk around and take plenty of photos

On your way down to the bus make sure you get your Passport stamped for a Machu Picchu memory!

We head back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch, a little souvenir shopping, and then head back to the train station.

Overnight in Cusco

Day 8: Cusco City Tour

Hotel picks up: 8:30 a.m for the city tour. We will be stopping at Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman, Kenko and Tambomachay

In the afternoon you are free to explore the city

Day 9: Travel to Puno, visit Raqchi

Your guide will pick up you from your hotel, to take the bus to Puno in a touristict bus that stop in some beautiful places like raqchi, the Trip is around 7 hours.

Overnight in Puno.

Day 10: Lake Titicaca (The highest navigable lake in the world)

After breakfast transfer from the hotel to the harbor where we will take the boat  to the floating islands of Uros and stop in Taquile, this place is amazing, there you will enjoy the view of the lake and we will see some products made by the local people, who are happy to shows their colorful clothes.

Return to the hotel at around 16:00p.m and we will have time to take the diner in a nice local restaurant in Puno.

Day 11: Trip from Juliaca to Cusco, from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado

Our Inca Roads' transfer will pick up you from your hotel, and accompany you to the Juliaca airport near to Puno, there you will take the flight to Cusco, it is around 35 minutes, In Cusco airport you will take a flight to Puerto Maldonado, it is a city in the Peruvian Amazon, our transfer will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it, and he will accompany you to your lodge, for you enjoy the incredible Peruvian gastronomy, the chef use local fresh product and some international ingredients too, to make a delicious food. You will relax with the singing of birds and enjoying that amazing view.

Day 12:  Puerto Maldonado Lodge - Excursions.

After a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, our local guide with show you some lake to see the huge otters, turtles and monkeys.

Returning to the lodge you will enjoy a delicious lunch.

Day 13: Puerto Maldonado - Excursion to see parrot and guacamallos 

Birds has they own shedule to feed, so our expert local guide will show us the best path and places to see this colorful birds while they eat clay, because it containg important minerals, that are crucial in the health of these birds.

At the lodge, enjoy delicious food and relax.

Day 14: Excursion in the Amazon Jungle - Medicinal plants and monkeys.

Life in the jungle calls for an early rise.

We will have breakfast at the lodge and head towards the jungle. 

Here you can keep your eyes open for a variety of monkeys and other animals.

We then continue exploring with our local  Puerto Maldonado guide, who is familiar with all the various trees and plants that have medicinal propieties.

Some insects are so well camoflouged, only visible to an expert eye.

After the jungle excursion we head back to the lodge for a local and international infused dinner prepared by our chef.

Day 15: Departure from Puerto Maldonado

After breakfast we will head back to Puerto Maldonado by boat.

Transfer to the airport to head back to Lima via Cusco.
