Day 1: Arrival to Lima
- Keep an eye out for one of our assigned drivers that will be holding an Inca Roads sign with your name on it.
- We will then transfer you to your hotel from Jorge Chavez, Lima airport.
Day 2: Arrival to Cusco – Walking Tour
- We pick up you from your hotel, our trans conductor will accompany to the Jorge Chavez airport to take the flight from Lima to Cusco, this flight take around 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- In Cusco airport, our trans conductor will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it.
- Cusco is a very beautiful city, but it is also very high, it is at 3300 m.o.s.l so we advise to rest most of the day. In the afternoon we advice only a short walking in the downtown, called Walking Tour, your guide will follow your suggestions if you decide to walk only a little bit, it is Ok, but if you prefer walking more time and visit more places, it is Ok, too.
Day 3: Sacred Valley – Tasting the best Peruvian food
- We pick up from your hotel, this day we will visit the beautiful Sacred Valley this will include a visit to the Pisac Ruins situated on top of the mountain where you can overlook the entire valley as well as the Urubamba river.
- In Urubamba we will stop for lunch infused with Peruvian flavours. A real peruvian experience!
- Next stop: Ollantaytambo, the most beautiful Incan town where the water still runs through aqueducts.
- The Ollantaytambo fortress is a symbolic place as this is where the Incas won in battle against the Spaniards.
- Ollantaytambo is home to many terraces and stairs to the peak of the mountain. From here you can see villages and will be surrounded by mountainous landscapes.
- Ollantaytambo, is an amazing village between Cusco and Machu Picchu, this night you will sleep at a nice hotel in Sacred Valley.
- Overnight in the Sacred Valley.
Day 4: The Sacred Valley, excursion to Pisac and Peruvian Food
- After a delicious breakfast with local products, your guide will pick up you for an excursion to Pisac, after that you willl enjoy the lunch in one of the best restaurants of the Sacred Valley.
- In the evening we will take the train to Aguas Calientes.
- Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
Day 5: Machu Picchu and the best food
- Your tourist guide will pick up you from your hotel, to go to the bus station and take the bus to Machu Picchu. It is around 28 minutes.
- Your guide will help with entrance and take you around for a 1.5-hour tour. You will then be able to walk around freely and take as many selfies and photos from this majestic place.
- Take your Passport with for your own Machu Picchu stamp!
- Once back in Aguas calientes we will have lunch at the best restaurant, explore and get to do some souvenir shopping before we head back to the train station.
- Arrival in Cusco; drop off in your hotel.
Day 6: City Tour and cooking lesson
- After your breakfast in your hotel, the guide will pick up you to take the city tour excursions, during these excursion you will visit the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman fortress, Kenko and Tambomachay
- After your excursion a local chef will teach you how make two of the most famous tipical Peruvian dishes and the most famous Peruvian drink the pisco sour, after that you will enjoy these delicious food prepared for yourself with the best fresh ingredients, and the unforgetable Peruvian taste.
Day 7: Living with a local Andean family
- Hotel pick up in the morning, to have an unforgetable day and realize how diferent is the life style of the people in this Anden town, in some ways is more simple but at the same time it is rich of experiences, and they show as how they are organized in their community. They will show us how they live and how they work, they will shows us some ancient old Inca techniques to ink clothes.
- We will walk by the village and collect some products. The women will prepare some Andean products for the lunch to enjoy all together having an Andean lunch.
- We will return to Cusco around 5:40 p.m
Day 8: Rainbow Mountain and Peruvian food or South Valley
- Our driver will pick you up at 09:00 a.m from your hotel
- After your excursion, lunch in a traditional Peruvian restaurant.
Day 9: Free morning shopping, at the evening traditional dances and dinner at a nice restaurant.
- We will pick you in the evening to go to the Centro Qosqo of Native Dance, to enjoy nice dance performances, after that we will have our good bye dinner from Cusco at a nice restaurant.
Day 10: Departure from Cusco
- Our transfer pick up you from your hotel and accompany you to the airport.
- We will help you until be sure that your flight is confirmed, and we will say you good buy, expecting that you comeback in the future to visit us again.
